Walking Under the Rain in Kerry Bog Village in Kerry, Ireland

I guess I would better like it when it rains and not so cold than snow and it is really freezing cold. I don’t wonder anymore about the weather in Ireland. During my 7-day trip in that country, it seems that I am already getting use to it. Our tour guide told us that most of the times, Ireland has four seasons a day weather. One thing I love there, it is not so cold like in Germany. The perfect thing to wear in Ireland’s weather should be a good rain jacket.  I am planning to buy one of these  jackets in the future.

Anyway back to the main topic. During our 5th day  of sightseeing  in Ireland, our tour guide brought us in Kerry Bog Village. It is actually not included in our itinerary to see but  then I was glad that   tour guide brought us there. The  Kerry Bog Village is located  on the beautiful Ring Of Kerry.  In that  museum, you will have an idea of how the  people lived and worked in Ireland in the 18th Century. It is considered to be Kerry’s main tourist attraction.

There is a huge parking lot in front and there is also a  restaurant and bar onsite. I should  have accepted   the  cup of  Irish coffee  offered by the  owner  when I was there and that  was for free. Sad to say, our time was limited  and the bus had to keep moving  around the Ring of Kerry.

That was a lovely rainy day at the Kerry Bog Village. The sightseeing to that museum was truly a countryside trip!
