Cruising in Lake Garda, Italy

The weather was sunny but as always, if you are near the water and it is still not high summer in Southern part of Europe, sometimes it can be a bit cold. It was not a problem for me because being a frequent traveler, I am always armed with the right clothes and gadget. lolz!

It was a mini-cruise I had in Lake Garda. My German friends call it Gardasee and in Italian, it is called Lago di Garda. This lake is the largest lake in Italy and is a very popular tourist destination. It was a perfect decision booking this trip in this part of Italy.

The beautiful scenery while leaving Riva del Garda, one of the beautiful towns in Lake Garda.

We don’t have a tour guide in that group trip to Lake Garda. Our bus driverjust dropped us in the parking area and told us where to go heading to Riva del Garda.  Riva del Garda is located at the north-western corner of Lake Garda, approximately 70 metres (230 feet) above sea level. The town is located at the southern edge of the Italian Alps, near the Dolomites.

.I decided to take the public ferry going to Limone, another bautiful town in Lake Garda.  I guess,  I paid around  8.00 Euros for return ticket  from Riva to Limone. It was not bad because I truly enjoyed visiting these towns in Lake  Garda. The scenery around was breathtaking.

I also conclude that it was so far a superb trip in this part of Italy. I wish to visit more places and cities that surrounds the largest lake of Italy. Want to join me? haha!

Have a lovely  day to everyone!
