Bus Was Robbed in Italy

Another golden week of October is here! Let me share to you what happened during my recent trip in Italy. Well, it was not really a good one but we were all thankful that we still made it to Siena. Here it is;

That day we should be heading to Siena, a historic city in the region of Tuscany in Italy. It was a bus trip and the bus that will take us to Siena was robbed. The robbers broke-in ins inside the bus and took all valuables. If we only have a modern bus during that trip, it might not happened. There might be fingerprint safes in a modern or luxury bus.

In the travel flyer where I booked that trip, it says, our transportation will be a luxury bus but it was not. That old bus is around 20 years old and there is no alarm installed in it. If that was a modern bus, breaking-in inside by the robbers should be avoided because the alarm will surely sounds.

Many things were robbed including jackets, sandals left in the bus, the  GPS of the bus driver, cameras left  and other things. My beautiful Jack Wolfskin jacket was also taken.  My scarf was no longer in its place but the passengers at the back of the bus asked me if  the one they found at the back  was mine. I was happy,  they did not took it.

I have been traveling  many times with the bus but it was the first time when  the bus I am riding was robbed. Quite a sad story.

Lesson learned: Take all your stuffs with you in your hotel room. Never ever  leave anything inside the bus.
