I Was Entertained During that Visit in Marrakesh

I thought I can only see Marrakesh in a travel channel, in a magazine or in internet. Finally, I was able to step-on this  very interesting and fascinating city of Morocco.   A day-visit in this city is not enough to see and to experience everything. Still, I am very happy and contented to be there.

The square of Djemaa El-Fna in Marrakesh, , also known as Marrakech,  is considered to be one of the famous squares in the world.

One of the highlights during that visit in Marrakesh was  during the visit in square of Djemaa El-Fna. This place must be in your must-to-see when in the city. Musicians, dancers, and story tellers pack this square at the heart of the medina, filling it with a cacophony of drum beats and excited shouts. If I am not mistaken, no musicians or street performers who uses  eminence speakers. I know this is a great modern  music instrument and you cannot see it there.

Another highlight  during that trip was the  visit at the Souks or markets of Marrakech. This is a fascinating place to witness and see many local products of any kinds in  Morocco.  Sad to say, due to limited time, we really don’t have the chance to go shopping.

Other sights we visited are the Tanneries, Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, El Bahia Palace, the Menara gardens and more. There are still so many things to experience in this city. I wish one day, I can visit it again. I would say, I was truly entertained during that visit in this city especially witnessing  so many things  in Djemaa El-Fna.
