Had Fun Watching the Oktoberfest Parade in Munich

I am trying to remember how many times did I already visited the famous and the biggest festival in this planet. I can’t believed that I was there for the fourth time already. The other week, a friend from England sent me a message in Facebook asking if I know somebody living around or near Munich area. She said that she had been trying to find an affordable accommodation in the area because she wanted to visit the funfair this year. Sad to say, I cannot remember a friend who live  there.

My last visit at  the Oktoberfest was in 2012 but it was in 2010 when I witnessed the parade. It was a perfect timing  since it was also its 200th Anniversary. I enjoyed it very much seeing various groups of participants with different presentations from colorful costumes to live bands, musicians, horse carriages with various decorations and more. The sweet days of window shopping in Asia is over! Hello guys! I am back here. I know, I was away for a long time here but there are offline things that keep me busy all the time. I believed, next month will be more busy since I have to concentrate more on a job.

Sightseeing in Ravenna, Italy

I am finally back from my trip in Italy. It was awesome and I am happy and contented  to visit again  more places in Italy. There is no  other country in Europe where I always pay a visit every year. There are times when I go back there couple of times in a year. This is due to its geographical location of this country  in which it is easy for me to find cheap holidays there.  I live around 4 hours from its border.

Back to the main topic. I am quite confused which to visit during  that day. I already researched about the sights to see in  Ancona, the capital  city of  Marche region in Italy before that trip commence. It is  first on my list but after the  inquiry I had from our tour guide the day before, I ended up choosing Ravenna.

Ravenna is the home of the Mosaic Basilica, with a delightful small town atmosphere. It was the capital of the Western Roman Empire from 402 until its fall in 476. Although an inland city, Ravenna is connected to the Adriatic Sea by the Candiano Canal. It is the location of 8 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. (more…)

Watched A Live Orchestra in St. Ullrich Church

It was not really a big one but I am happy to witness an orchestra in Bavaria. The weather was so cold that night. There was no snow but since it was winter, you can expect that the temperature gets really cold. That night we decided to go to St. Ullrich Church in Hohenfels. I love listening to good music and the entrance for that musical show is for free. I took the chance to go to this church to watch it.

Children and adult musicians were performing that night. I wanted to take good pictures but I did not bring my good camera that night. (more…)

Travel Images for Develop

I can’t imagine taking a lot of photos everytime I travel. Yes, I confess, I always do! It is the only free thing I can take home together with all those unforgettable travel memories. When I get old, I will just browse those pictures in my computer and I am already happy seeing it. There is also  a reason why I always take a lot of pictures. I am planning  to build a museum from my travels. lolz!

For me, visiting  over 30 countries  is already a great achievement especially that I am only a very ordinary person.

Slowly Saying Goodbye to Winter

I can already feel the breeze of spring season! This is the reason why I am slowly saying goodbye to winter. This season is not over yet but since our weather is really getting more friendlier this time, I am really happy about it. During the winter months like in December, January and February, we also had mild winters.

During those past months, we really did not had snowy weather. As far as I can remember, it only snowed heavy last January but it did not stayed too long because the temperature  was not reaching to sub-zero.  (more…)

Going to Venice Carnival or Not?

Carnival would surely be a great experience especially if you love fun and enjoyment. I have been to some sort of carnival festivals in Europe especially in Germany but haven’t experience yet the Carnival of Venice , also known as Carnevale di Venezia.

In fact, I have been to Venice four times already but did not had a perfect timing to visit its world most famous carnival.  I only experienced  a Venice Carnival during the Venetian week in Nuremberg, Germany. They also had a parade that time but the participants  were only around 20 people.  They also wore elaborate costumes and distinctive masks, which I really find very interesting.  (more…)

Missing this Beautiful Place in the Philippines

Hello everyone! How’s life going on? And yes, I hope you had a blast when you celebrated Valentine’s Day. Not really that bad for me. I just stayed at home, did some walking in our area and cooked good food. Last night, I had a sip of good wine while watching a good movie.  I am already happy and contented with it.

Let me go back to the main topic here. I can’t wait to be home soon. My plane ticket to the Philippines was already booked. Thanks to my siblings for sponsoring my plane ticket. I will finally be home in two months from now.

The beach in our home in Cebu, Philippines. I will for sure stay on the water everyday. Soaking in it and let the waves massage my body. This is a great way to relax and distress. I am really missing it!

It has been over four years now since my last holiday to the Philippines. I preferred to travel in Europe than in my home country. Since those 4 years of not going home, I visited over 30 countries including United States of America and Canada and mostly countries in Europe. (more…)
